Concerning your question, I would add tha the wall currently existing at the end of the line in De Ferrari station, is just a thin provisional frame, to separate the station from the working area, and is like to be removed only at the end, when all the works in the subsequent line section up to Brignole shall be fully completed (last 2011, scheduled, as Flavio said) .
As a matter of fact, the tunnel and related major civil works are already completed up to the end, but those related to rail lane and to all technological systems, as well as Brignole station, are still in progress.
